Cleaning Tall and Hard-to-Reach Windows
If you have to reach up (or want to use a pole) you need to squeegee from top to bottom. Don’t worry you use the same equipment with an Extenda-Pole or a standard broom handle.
STEP ONE: SCRUB UP THE WINDOW
Be careful you do not get to much water near the top. This could cause drips after you have finished.
STEP TWO: SQUEEGEE
Nestle the squeegee horizontally at the top of the window and bring down the squeegee to a comfortable height. Make certain you keep the angle (the height of the handle off the glass) correct. Wipe the squeegee rubber dry with your MYTEE Microfibre cloth after each swipe.
STEP THREE: THE SECOND SWIPE
It is important that, the end of the squeegee blade that is in the dry area (critical end) be angled downwards and into the dry area. This will ensure you do not get a wet vertical streak.
STEP FOUR: TO FINISH
Continue each vertical swipe for the complete width of the window. If you have squeegeed down to a manageable height. You can now soap up and finish the window with the side to side procedure.
REMEMBER
Dry your squeegee blade, streaks and any smears with your MYTEE Microfibre cloth.
